Sharail Butler – Preschool Teacher

sharail-mapleSharail came to CDSA with 12 years of professional Early Childhood Education (ECE) experience. She has been a member of the awesome Maple team since June 2006. Working here has given her the opportunity to return to school and pursue her B. A. in the ECE field.  Sharail is also working to build her sign language skills (which she teaches in the classroom). She is a firm believer that sign language enables children to have more options of expressing themselves and at times is easier to use than verbal language. Her long term goal is to create an organization that networks with the local childcare faculties to provide care and support services to children with special needs and behavioral concerns.

Aside from work, she  enjoys arts and craft projects and collects barbie dolls. For show and tell she often bring them in to show and share with her students. She is also a very active member of her Church, and was recently ordained as a Deacon which she’s very excited about! Sharail looks forward to working with you and your family this year!
