CDSA is pleased to be able to offer you childcare on site at Sanislo School. The before and after school program is located in the multi-purpose room of the school, which is designated for childcare use in the before and after school hours. We are also fortunate to have use of the school gym, library, and outside covered play area during the out of school time hours.
Kim Lee – Sanislo Center Director
Kim has enjoyed working with children for over 16 years and has been with Community Day School since 2003; where she began as an enrichment teacher and have worked with every age group during her tenure.
Outside of work, she free enjoys spending time with her family, crocheting, and watching movies. Kim has three sons all of which attended Sanislo, and two of her sons attended CDSA for four years. They all loved their experience at CDSA Sanislo.
Kim enjoys being at CDSA with the wonderful staff that she works with. She looks forward to being with the children and getting to know all of the families. Please feel free to contact her with any questions that you may have.
Barry Joyner – Enrichment Teacher
Barry Joyner lived most of his life in Seattle and has worked with CDSA as an Enrichment teacher at the Sanislo and Hawthorne sites for the past 8 years. He is an easy going individual with an outgoing personality and uses these traits to work with his students. Barry holds his STARS status in teaching and is in the process of receiving his Early Childhood Education certificate and MA.
Barry’s number one passion is spending time with his daughter Myah. While growing up in Seattle, Barry developed an interest in the musical arts and today is very involved in the local Seattle music scene, with his band “GodSpeed”.
Jason Walsh - Enrichment Teacher
Jason moved to Seattle from Cleveland, Ohio 2 years ago and has been working with CDSA for a year and a half as a school age teacher. While in Ohio he studied Special Education at Ashland University and is currently pursuing further education in Seattle. Since Jason graduated from high school, he has since worked as a camp counselor and also with various other recreational programs with children and adults with disabilities.
He enjoys reading, hiking, climbing, camping, sports, and any thing else outdoors. Jason looks forward to spending his time with the children and creating a safe, friendly environment for them to grow and learn.
Suzanne Harnois - Enrichment Teacher
Suzanne has worked with CDSA for 2 years and recently joined the Sanislo team. She has been working with children for over 10 years as a rock & ice climbing instructor for Boy Scouts and Outward Bound, and as an adaptive ski instructor for the past 7 years at Stevens Pass.
Suzanne is looking forward to sharing her love of the outdoors and adventurous sports with the children.
